In this clip, Ernest Lee Thomas opened up about being in the movie “Funny People” with Adam Sandler, as he called Adam one of the nicest people. Ernest went on to speak about preparing to turn 72, and he admitted that he’s surprised that he survived doing drugs without health issues down the road. In closing, Ernest spoke about the continued success of “What’s Happening!!,” including from the hip-hop community, which Ernest says surprised him.
