Eminem started his career out in the late ’90s but didn’t truly find success or a way to reach the masses without the help of Dr. Dre. Eminem released his 2nd album with Dr. Dre in the form of “The Slim Shady LP” which amassed over 5 million sales compared to his first album only having 1,000 sales! That is a very drastic jump! Then the following year Eminem released “The Marshall Mathers LP” which has over 32 million sales! Even a bigger jump than the last one! Eminem kept this up and dominate the whole decade from 2000-2010, the only rapper to ever do so. From all of his success and fame, Eminem began to have numerous personal issues and often disses other rappers to ruin their careers or just for fun. Eminem is known for his ability to diss, that’s even referenced in his own movie “8 Mile”. Speaking of “8 Mile” Eminem created the song “Eminem – Lose Yourself [HD]” for the soundtrack of the movie and ended being one of Eminem’s most famous songs with it even winning an Oscar! Eminem has even broken the world record for the fastest rapper in the world numerous times but his most famous one is from “Eminem – Rap God [Official Video]”. Throughout his career, Eminem has gone through many changes but one of the things that remained throughout his career is his love for the genre and the respect he has for rappers who focus on their lyrics/craft. As of lately, Eminem has been feuding with a lot of mumble rappers about their style and what they are doing to the genre he loves.
