The World Wide Leaders of MC Battle culture SMACK/ URL; held their NOME 5 (Night Of Main Events) in NYC on Saturday May 9th. The event was stacked with athletes, tastemakers and music industry heavyweights including multi platinum recording artist DRAKE. The Canadian MC took to the stage to pay homage to the SMACK/ URL movement when he was challenged by one of their top gunners, Murda Mook. The room erupted as the two MC’s exchanged slick talk. In the end it was all in fun as the two MC’s shook hands and left the stage.
