In this clip, Dr. Khan explains the meaning behind flattening the curve with the coronavirus, and he added that for every one person that gets the virus, it’s predicted that they will spread it to 3 to 5 people. He went on to speak about a patient testing positive after coming into the hospital and being exposed to that patient between them being infected. Dr. Khan then advised people to stay out of the hospitals unless they’re extremely ill to caution being exposed to the virus or spreading it to others.
Dr. Khan went on to share his thoughts on various topics related to the coronavirus, including things not ever going back to the way they were before the virus spread across the globe. He predicts that the PTSD from this event will be long-lasting, and he added that something like this has never happened in the history of the world, which has led to an overall fear. Dr. Khan went on to speak about herd immunity not being a proven fact, and how there could possibly be more than one strain of the virus.
