A pet dog from Oklahoma chewed a lithium-ion battery, causing it to explode and start a fire in the house.
CCTV shows the pooch chewing on the cell phone battery pack, which eventually exploded and burst into flames on the pet mattress.
Two other dogs remained at the scene as the fire and smoke filled the home. The dogs and a cat escaped unharmed through a dog door while the property suffered ‘significant damage’.
