In light of director Allen Hughes recounting cutting Eazy-E from his role as O-Dog in the classic film Menace to Society, citing Eazy’s need to “control” the film as the reason he was eventually dropped. He added that he understood why Dr. Dre and Ice Cube could no longer work with him. Hughes’s comments prompt this VladTV Flashback from 2021 when DJ Yella addressed NWA breaking up. Yella recalled Dr. Dre asking him to leave Ruthless when he left, and explaining how he felt caught in the middle of Dre and Eazy-E’s beef because they were both his friends.
