On Thursday’s (May 14) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks are joined by Brooklyn rapper Desiigner. The crew and ‘Panda’ rapper start off the conversation discussing Desiigner’s decision to leave G.O.O.D. Music. He goes on to explain ‘creative differences’ as the motive of his departure and also spoke on the Future comparisons. Soon after, Desiigner expresses his frustrations with Kanye West, while maintaining a brotherly relationship with Pusha T. Desiigner also reflects on his immediate rise to stardom with the success of ‘Panda,’ and revals if the song was a gift or a curse to his career. Later in the show, the Brooklyn rapper speaks on what has changed in the past few years for him, remaining humble, releasing his latest single ‘Survivor’ and choosing to be an independent artist. Lastly, Desiigner drops gems on how he is surviving the COVID-19 pandemic as an artist; through managing investments, owning properties and hopefully collaborating with more New York artists.
