Just an adorable clip from Israel of an orphaned baby fruit bat named “Guga” waking up from a deep sleep.
“She seems remarkably human as she wakes up, seemingly still sleepy and somewhat confused, stretching out her wings and yawning,” said the filmer.
“Guga” was rescued by volunteers from the Israeli Bat Sanctuary and fostered for three months.
“During that time she learned how to eat solid fruits and eventually learned how to fly,” said the sanctuary.
This clip was filmed in September and she has since been released back into nature.
