“After funding our trip to Texas,” the man said he discovered his girlfriend had been “deleting texts with a man she’d met up with using my car,” prompting him to immediately end the relationship.
While driving her home, he said she “pleaded with me not to leave,” before escalating the situation by threatening to jump from the moving vehicle. He claims that without warning, she “yanked the steering wheel at 72 mph,” though he was able to keep control of the car.
He said he drove directly to a police detail, where officers removed her, and later he “successfully obtained a restraining order.”
