Being a celebrity comes with its fair share of weird or awkward experiences, as the entertainment industry seems to be full of them. But a lot of the jobs that some celebrities have had before their rise to fame were just as weird.
When we see our favorite celebs, especially the ones who have been working in their industries for a long time, it’s almost hard to picture them having any other career besides the one we see them doing. But a lot of celebrities weren’t born into fame and fortune; they worked for it… even if it’s a little awkward. Some of our favorite celebs were once food critics, some grew up on Christmas tree farms working as an exterminator, some grew up sweeping hair in salons and some even worked at smoothie shops that required them to dress up as a giant banana and stand by the highway to promote their job. Riveting work, we’re sure.
As surprising as it may be to some people, many celebs come from pretty humble beginnings. And the road to fame has been long and treacherous at times. But at the end of the day, we’re happy to see that our favorite celebs are living their best lives doing what they love.
