Chadwick Boseman was best known for his role as King T’Challa in the “Black Panther” franchise, but to those who had the chance to know him he was so much more than that. Many of his fellow stars have spoken up and we’ll share some of the celebrities’ reactions to his tragic passing due to colon cancer. Chris Evans was “absolutely devastated” by the loss and revealed that the two had become good friends behind the scenes. Tom Holland pointed out that this star was just as much of a hero behind the scenes as he was on the big screen and Mark Ruffalo called working with him the “highest honor.” Don Cheadle said a sad goodbye to his “birthday brother” while Brie Larson reflected on his caring and considerate nature. Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt both sent along their love to the family this star left behind, and Josh Brolin expressed his surprise and sadness regarding the situation. Ryan Reynolds paid his respects on social media, while Angela Bassett shared just how much they shared behind the scenes. Samuel L. Jackson thanked Chadwick Boseman for all he accomplished, while Jordan Peele described his loss as “crushing.” Even singer John Legend chimed in, saying he’s heartbroken about his passing and will remember him as a “bright light.”
