We continue to fight for social justice today, as witnessed by the protests after the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery — not to mention the deplorable shooting of Jacob Blake by a Kenosha, Wisconsin cop earlier this week — America still has a lot of work to do when it comes to treating Black people fairly. And we, the people, are steadfast in our quest to make sure that we obtain the basic human rights that we deserve.
