They say half of marriages end in divorce, but some divorces seem to last just as long as some marriages do.
It’s inevitable that people are bound to change in relationships, and sometimes, those changes call for the end of that marriage so that the two involved can move on with their lives. And sometimes, while it can be an emotionally difficult process, a divorce can go relatively smoothly. Both parties may understand that they’re unhappy and want to fix the situation. Other times, it’s a painful and long drawn out divorce battle that seems to have no end date.
Don’t believe us? Ask Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are STILL working to finalize their marriage. Honestly, I can’t be the only person to think that they were married way longer than they were, but either way, it proves that some divorces seem to last a lifetime, especially when children are involved. But even if children aren’t involved, divorce can be a long uphill battle. And that can definitely be said for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. Their relationship and their wedding was broadcast for the entire world to see on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. And so was their divorce announcement just 72-days after their wedding. Literally, the editors of the show put a written disclaimer about their divorce in the very same episode that the couple got married in. Yeah, it was wild.
