This is the moment a pet cat was mesmerised by a fireworks display in Thailand.
Footage shows the Scottish Fold named Mafia staring at the night sky, illuminated by the colourful pyrotechnics during the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival in Chonburi province.
Mafia was held by his owner and girlfriend, Ratchanuch Phonok, who captured the feline's reaction at the event.
In addition to being used for celebrations, fireworks are also used in Thai culture as a way to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck.
Thai people believe that fireworks' loud noises and bright colours will scare away evil spirits and allow the good to enter their homes.
