Police responding to a burglary alarm at a bank in Ridge, New York, were met with an unusual suspect when a buck crashed through a window and became trapped inside.
Officers found the deer panicking and causing damage before calmly lassoing and guiding it back outside. The animal was released unharmed and ran off, with no injuries reported.
Suffolk County Police Department praised officers for their coordinated response to the unexpected call.
