Sam made the announcement on Instagram, posting the couple showing off Brit’s gold-banded engagement ring. Britney also shared the big news on social media with some adorable videos of herself sporting her diamond ring. “I can’t believe it”, she wrote while showing off the diamond ring.
The singer’s fans would be excited about an upcoming wedding no matter what, but with Britney’s recent conservatorship troubles, the news is so much more exciting!
Over the last couple of years, Britney’s fans were deep in the #FreeBritney movement when her New York Times documentary dropped, as the star continued to fight against her conservatorship. Now that he’s put a ring on it, Sam continues to support Britney’s goals of ending the conservatorship and getting back living life on her own terms.
