Boosie on T.I. Snitching, Scrapping Joint Album, Daughter Poison Ivi Coming Out (Full Interview)

In this full-length interview, Boosie shares his thoughts on Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. He spoke about the historical significance of two Black quarterbacks before praising Patrick Mahomes and making the case that he may have already surpassed the great Tom Brady. He then shared his thoughts on Rihanna’s halftime performance and the fact that she performed while pregnant. From there, he talks about the ’50 anniversary of the Hip-Hop celebration at the Grammy’s and why he didn’t feel slighted for not being a part of the show before explaining why his catalog is better than any of the performers who were highlighted on that night. He also shared his thoughts on the scuffle between Quavo and his cousin, Offset, over the tribute performance for Takeoff.

Moving along, Boosie speaks on T.I. admitting that he told on his dead homies when he was younger, and Boosie said that he hasn’t spoken to the Atlanta rapper. Boosie added that the interview really hurt him and that he thinks that T.I. was lying when telling the story. Vlad then pointed out that the podcast was from a year ago and recently resurfaced. Vlad also questioned why T.I. would lie about something like this and added that cooperating in a case is not something you lie about. Boosie also stated that he’d pick up the phone if T.I. called, but he added that he can’t tarnish his legacy for anyone. Boosie also added that he took up for T.I. over the “Crime Stoppers” commercials as part of his plea deal, and Vlad pointed out that the commercials encourage people to call in and get paid for information. Later, Boosie opened up about his daughter, rapper Poison Ivi coming out as a lesbian and how he learned about it through social media like most people. Despite his stance against homosexuality, Boosie said that he and his family will continue to love Ivi unconditionally.
