In this clip, BigKayBeezy talked about the street code that he adhered to growing up in Chicago and the pitfalls that many people his age fall into when they decline to listen to the advice of older people in their neighborhood. Moving along, BigKayBeezy looked back on his old approach to confronting his rivals in the streets and how those experiences changed his viewpoint for the better. He reflected on his dad teaching him how to rap at a young age and cultivating that gift over time. He likened his work ethic in music to a plug in the streets, saying that the “trap doesn’t close,” meaning it’s never a time that he’s not working on his craft. BigKayBeezy also opened up about his recently deceased friend Jake and the circumstances around his death.

Later, BigKayBeezy talked about recording tons of songs, many of which he doesn’t have immediate plans to release but listens to them on his own because they speak to different aspects of what he’s been through and going through in life. He also recounted making “Bookbag” and getting Polo G to hop on as well. BigKayBeezy later discussed his house getting raided after the release of “Bookbag 2.0.” He also talked about the experience of getting locked up right before signing a deal with Interscope Records and dropping new music with Polo G.
