CAMPANELLA PARK – Big Kenzo, talks about his younger brother, G-Weed, who was recently sentenced to 135 months in prison. In May 2017 G-Weed was shot in Georgia and shortly after his recovery he was arrested.
Kenzo discusses the program Chico Brown started in Compton, rehabbing City owned property and having it renovated by local Crips and Pirus of Compton. Unfortunately City Council member Janna Zurita (recently voted out), voted NO against Chico’s project which was also slated to become a Netflix show, because of his close association with Mayor Aja Brown.
Janna Zurita was voted out in June 2019, so perhaps there is some hope for Chico’s project to get resurrected with a new Compton City council.
