Big Gipp of the legendary Goodie Mob and musician James Worthy sat down with VladTV to speak about their careers, and Gipp started by detailing his beginnings in Atlanta. Vlad and Gipp briefly noted that despite seeing each other numerous times over the years, their current sit-down was their first interview ever. From there, Gipp detailed how Atlanta morphed into a powerhouse because sports and industry moved into the city in the 80s.

Gipp said he grew up in a home with both of his parents and saw both sides of how drug culture affected families in the community. The artist noted he eventually got mixed up in the streets because of the large amount of money he saw older kids getting. The Goodie Mob emcee went on to say that because he had a father and mother in his home, their presence and guidance allowed him to make decisions in the street that would prevent him from going to jail.
