A surprisingly resilient tree has become the star of a viral moment after surviving what looked like a nearcomplete beaver takedown. The video, posted on Instagram by lastleafstudio and now surpassing 13 million views, shows Dustin discovering the tree while scouting along a creek.
Despite being chewed almost entirely through the kind of handiwork that usually sends a tree crashing down this one remained upright, defying both gravity and expectation. Curious, Dustin gave it a few determined pushes, attempting to topple it safely. But even with its trunk carved out like a wooden hourglass, the tree refused to budge.
