Beasley & Rain910 get real about hip-hop, brotherhood, and why music connects to more than just bars.
From their history before URL to the songs that bring back powerful memories, this conversation goes deeper than rap.
Speaking with Knowledge Tha God for HipHopIsReal, Beasley reflects on Rain910’s growth as a rapper and producer, recalls seeing him alongside Cory Gunz at Loaded Lux vs. Midwest Miles, and explains why Rain started creating his own beats.
Together, they discuss sampling, live instrumentation, Q-Tip, Large Professor, and the soul behind great music. Beasley also stands behind Rain910’s talent, shares his take on acquired musical taste, and has everyone laughing when he says he can still do windmills.
