Ali of the group St. Lunatics talked about his background and involvement in the music industry. Ali, who hails from St. Louis, discussed his early exposure to music as his father owned two record stores. He mentioned that he has always had a passion for music and started off as a DJ and producer before venturing into rapping.

When asked about his involvement in gang activities, Ali explained that while he was familiar with the gang culture in St. Louis, he didn’t take it seriously. He mentioned that he grew up in a neighborhood where gangs were present, but his focus was always on music. Ali also touched on his close relationship with his siblings, who are all significantly older than him. He recalled childhood memories of going to roller rinks and skating with his older sisters and brothers.
