LOS ANGELES – Thad “Lil Gangster” Thomas grew up on 43rd Street near Gilbert Lindsay Park and became a member of the Four Tray Gangster Crips during the late 1970s/ early 1980s. In 1983 he was sentenced to juvenile life and served 7-years in a CYA prison. In this episode he discusses the loss of his brother, Lance “Chino” Ennis, who was shot and killed on the 1000 block of East 43rd Street, the same block that Thad caught his case over 25 years previously.
