EARTHGANG stopped by HOT 97 to talk to Nessa about their new song “Cool Me Down” featuring Nature and the surprising connection between the record, the United Nations and climate change. Olu and WowGr8 also reflected on meeting as teenagers, the early days of EARTHGANG, what J. Cole saw in them before signing them, and the jobs they had before music became their full-time career. They also revealed why they believe their story could one day become a TV series or biopic.
They also shared their thoughts on AI taking over music and why they question which jobs AI is being used to replace. EARTHGANG talked about the possibility of another project together, their individual music, working with The-Dream, their comic books and a new children’s book in the works. Plus, Nessa puts them to the test with a game of “Name That Duo.”
