Following Lil Durk’s full acquittal on all federal charges in his high-profile murder-for-hire trial, defense attorney Drew Findling and the legal team delivered an emotional and triumphant press conference outside the Los Angeles federal courthouse.
Findling opened by reflecting on a pact he and Durk made 22 months prior to achieve a historic, complete acquittal in the American legal system. He forcefully proclaimed that Durk is “not guilty of all charges” and demanded that “the shackles must come off, and he must walk free”.
Amid the celebration, Findling also took a moment to express sympathies to the family of Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson. Fellow defense attorney Brian Steel was heavily celebrated alongside Findling, receiving massive chants of “MVP” from the surrounding crowd of supporters. While marking a massive victory, the legal team noted that Durk remains in custody ahead of a separate upcoming federal racketeering trial scheduled for October 5.
