Adam Stoehr (Day 8 / Witness 25 / final witness ) testified about YouTube Clips (State Exhibit 165): that he was asked by prosecutors to pull and edit longer YouTube videos featuring Duane “Keefe D” Davis down into concise clips. The clips featured Davis discussing elements from his book Compton Street Legend, including declining to address specific details about a gun supplied by Eric “Von Zip” Martin and instead telling viewers to buy the book for the “real truth” as well as statements criticizing Tupac Shakur and others for the MGM casino altercation involving Orlando Anderson.
Jail Calls (State Exhibit 164): Stoehr played recorded excerpts from phone calls made by Davis following his September 2023 arrest in Henderson, Nevada. Notable remarks played for the jury included Davis stating, “They just trying to use the words I said against me,” claiming “I was paid to say that,” and remarking in a November 2023 call about money and a future series that “I got blood on my money”.
Courtroom Video (State Exhibit 166): He also presented synchronized multi-angle courtroom video showing Davis appearing to mouth words toward Reggie Wright Jr. while Wright was seated near the witness stand. Following Stoehr’s testimony, which saw no cross-examination or jury questions, the State officially rested its case.
