In this exclusive HipHopIsReal interview with Hollyfield, Danny Myers gives his immediate battle recap after facing Snake Eyez and admits Snake was the cleaner performer on the night.
Danny calls the battle 2-1 for Snake Eyez, giving him the first and third rounds. The Bar God also takes accountability for choking, looking at his phone during the third, and says he can’t claim that round—even though he believes he had stronger material in portions of the battle.
Danny also explains how not having his water threw him completely out of rhythm, why he already started feeling defeated during the battle, and why he knows Snake Eyez is about to take full advantage of the victory.
“He got me. He got me.”
Danny says there’s no excuse—a win is a win—and now he has to take the loss, recalibrate and bounce back.
