The filmer said: “After jumping from a hot air balloon at sunrise, the skydive itself went smoothly with incredible views of the landscape and dozens of balloons in the sky. However, during the final landing approach, I misjudged my direction and still had forward speed.
”
As I touched down, I collided directly with a stone post on the ground, resulting in a sudden and unexpected impact. The moment was captured in a short but intense clip, showing how quickly a controlled skydive can turn into a real-life incident.
“Fortunately, the injuries were minor, and I was able to walk away. The video highlights both the beauty and unpredictability of skydiving, especially in unique environments like Cappadocia.”
