The girls are officially diving into their egg donation journey, but the hormone injections are sending their moods all over the place. To prep for the procedure, Kara is even detoxing by cutting out booze and vaping. Polly takes things to the next level by building a fake agency website called The Hatchery to attract buyers. Surprisingly, the wild plan actually works when both Sylvia and Kara secure matches. Kara even gets a massive offer for twenty thousand dollars from a couple who does not even want to meet her.
While Sylvia spends a crazy day at the Museum of Death and The Abbey getting to know her prospective buyers, Kara is desperately trying to hide the entire egg donation hustle from Mike. She has carefully constructed their dynamic to avoid settling down because she knows Mike is thirty-three and ready for serious commitment. When her friends invite Mike over for a surprise dinner to force her to tell the truth, Kara totally panics under the pressure. In a last ditch effort to avoid coming clean, she blurts out that she has herpes.
