A dad and his son turned a severewind advisory into a windpowered backyard experiment, using a tarp and a pair of rollerblades to demonstrate just how strong the gusts sweeping through Palmer really were. The moment, posted on TikTok by @wildertogether21, has gained over 274,000 views.
The clip shows the boy gripping the tarp as the wind catches it like a sail, pulling him rapidly across the street before a particularly strong gust drags him straight into a neighbours lawn. The family can be heard laughing as the boy pops back up, unhurt but surprised by the force of the wind.
