This is the hilarious moment a pet dog was seen terrified by a giant cat mascot at a shopping mall.
Aaron Reyes was walking Kulas, the Jack Russell and Toy Poodle mix, when they spotted the enormous grey feline character standing by the walkway in Manila, Philippines.
Footage shows the four-year-old small white dog, wearing a diaper, keeping his distance as he cautiously stared at the mascot waving at him on August 11.
Moments later, Aaron called Kulas to pass by, prompting the pooch to dart behind his owner in panic.
When Aaron stopped in front of the cat, which posed with its arms on its hips, the visibly frightened dog slowly edged backward.
In the video, Aaron can be heard saying: 'There you have it. You kept fighting with cats at home, and now you're facing this big cat.'
Aaron said: 'Usually, when I take him to the mall or for walks, I don't use a leash. He's used to just following me. I was surprised when he refused to walk—turns out he had spotted the giant cat.
'Kulas is known for humping cats, clearly found this oversized feline encounter a little too intimidating.'
