K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is conquering the world. Their first full album, The Album, broke records. Lovesick Girls is winning on music shows. Their Netflix original documentary called BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky, is number one in many countries. It has been positively reviewed for it’s in-depth view into the personal lives and behind the scenes of each member.
Rosé has been promised a solo project since 2018, finally, this year of 2020, YG Entertainment announced her solo project after The Album. It has yet to be released but there is a preview in their new documentary. She is working hard to write something personal in a song that will showcase her unique vocal tone. The track is a pop song produced by Joe “Vince” Rhee and Teddy. Rosé’s solo debut was supposed to be after Jennie’s 2018 solo song, SOLO. There’s no news for another track from Jennie but she is active in the fashion scene for CHANEL. After Rosé’s debut is supposed to be Lisa’s then Jisoo. As an amazing dancer, fans are hoping for a song to showcase Lisa’s dance skill. Jisoo has a upcoming drama called Snowdrop.
