In what might be the dumbest story of the year, a 29-year-old man was arrested after posting a photo of money he stole from a Wells Fargo bank vault.
Arlando Henderson allegedly stole $88,000 from a bank where he worked in Charlotte, North Carolina. Authorities say Henderson stole cash out of Wells Fargo vault at least 18 times this year. He then posted his newfound “wealth” on Instagram and Facebook.
We hate to say it, but Henderson may have just been trying to emulate a lifestyle glorified in rap music and rap stars. If you scroll long enough down your favorite rapper’s Instagram page, you’ll probably find a picture of them holding a sizable wad of cash against their ear, imitating someone actually being on the phone.
