This year has been a big one for some of our favorite celebs. But that’s not always a good thing.
While some controversial celebrity moments aren’t too bad, other moments almost seem to cross the line between “controversial” and “illegal”.
We may be able to get over the fact that Kendall Jenner wore a slightly inappropriate Monet dress to Lauren Perez’s wedding. And maybe we can give Chris Pratt another chance, even though his Instagram tribute to his wife seemed just a little bit shady and a bit possessive. And then there are moments that seem controversial, but should actually be celebrated. Simone Biles’ decision to withdraw from the Tokyo Olympics to focus on her mental health? Great choice. And we support her one hundred percent. And of course, Britney’s conservatorship ending is a huge win not only for Britney, but for her millions of fans as well as the #FreeBritney Movement.
But then there are things that deserve a little bit more than a side eye. Armie Hammer’s leaked DMs is a great example of this. And the entire situation with Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion is still ongoing to this day. Not to mention that DaBaby’s problematic Rolling Loud comments upset a lot of his fans. And the controversies don’t stop there.
