Seeing your favorite celebrities having fun with their hair can be exciting. With different wigs, extensions, eccentric hair colors and styles, the possibilities are endless with what you can do with hair. And with Hollywood always finding ways to change up trends, it’s almost hard to keep up. And while we encourage and empower everyone to have fun with hair and to do what makes you feel good, it’s nice to see that some of our favorite celebrities also advocate for embracing their natural hair and characteristics that make them uniquely them.
The topic of natural hair has been a much-needed discussion for decades, and the Natural Hair Movement has empowered so many people in the African-American community (and recently, even those outside of the African-American community) to embrace their natural curl patterns and to love the way hair naturally grows out of their head. And while some people in society may generally see natural hairstyles as “unprofessional”, we’re seeing a wave of people stand up to embrace themselves, despite what anyone else thinks and it’s truly inspiring.
So whether it’s all glammed up with lace fronts and extensions or it’s a look that’s more on the natural side, your favorite celebs look stunning, encouraging us all to embrace all of ourselves as well.
