The life of a kid with a famous celeb parent must be pretty cool, right?
They usually live in big lavish houses, have closets full of designer clothes and seem to have access to nearly unlimited resources. But just because they can have everything they want doesn’t mean they’re always allowed to do everything they want. And some of our fave celebrities have some pretty strict or straight up strange rules that they make their kids follow.
When your parents are none other than Beyonce and Jay-Z, you can assume that your childhood is going to be anything but average. Bey and Jay are literally two of the biggest faces in music and they both work incredibly hard to keep their private life private. So it makes perfect sense that by the time their daughter Blue Ivy was in pre-school, she already had her own security detail to ensure her safety.
And when it comes to technology, Jennifer Lopez has a pretty strict rule about how much time her kids were allowed to spend using it when they were younger., The same goes for Gwyneth Paltrow who, not only limited screen time for her kids, but also limited the amount of English TV they could watch.
And then there’s Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, who have a pretty unorthodox way of parenting that really seems to work for them called the Circle of Safety. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to strict or interesting parenting rules.
