Many stars are stepping up to help bail out people they believe were wrongfully arrested, but there have been other celebrities protesting, and sometimes getting arrested, themselves! Cole Sprouse had a scary experience, but doesn’t want the media to focus on his involvement over other people’s. Madison Beer was accused of using the movement as a photo prop, something she vehemently denies. Tessa Thompson claims things were peaceful until the LAPD showed up, and some stars like Kendrick Sampson and Matt McGorry were injured during their time outside. Rapper Chika was one of the stars who was actually detained by law enforcement, along with Jaime King. Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty said their fellow protesters were peaceful and loving, until they were boxed into a corner and unable to escape. Singer Halsey said she was out there to make her voice heard, but was forced to contend with tear gas and a serious lack of medical supplies. While she managed to escape the worst of the damage, she stepped up to help those around her who weren’t quite so lucky.
